Nahda Makers Organization conducted a training course for the social committee in Souq Al-Rabwa region, Al-Qubaytah district , Lahj Governorate, on the usage and maintenance of the solar pump, funded by UNICEF.
This comes within the Water and Environmental Sanitation Program to support displaced people and conflict-affected communities in five districts in Lahj Governorate (Toben, Tor Al-Baha, Almqatrah, Alqbitah, Mudaraba, Ras Alara).
The course aimed to acknowledge and educate the social committee on the use of the well pump, how to maintain it, in order to preserve the sustainability of the project and protect it from damage, and to make permanent use of the well which works by solar energy.
Moreover, the social committee was elected by the people of its region.
