In the effort to reduce malnutrition and famine,
# Nahda_Makers_Organization distributed 1500 food voucher, 1000 dry forage, and 1,000 minerals block in six areas in Al-Azariq Directorate, Al Dale'e Governorate, funded by #UNOCHA.
Additionally, the distribution aimed to strengthen livelihoods, and eliminate the malnutrition and famine, which are increasing in Al-Azariq Directorate.
The distribution process continued for seven days. However, the number of beneficiaries from the first cycle reached 1,500 families.
The distribution targeted a number of vulnerable groups, like:
•The poor people.
• Widows.
• Malnutrition.
• physically disabled.
• Families headed by old people.
The project officer, T. Ali Mohammed, said that the distribution process will continue to reduce malnutrition in Al-Azariq Directorate in Al Dale'e Governorate.
In fact, this distribution comes within integrated WASH and Food Security Support in Al Dale'e.
