Within the emergency education support project in the districts of Al-Khawkhah and Al-Tuhayat “Al-Hodeidah”, #NMO_ORG implemented the activities of distribution of Students kits, Teachers kits and Recreational kits with support of #ECW and in partnership with #NRC.
These activities targeted displaced children who are of school age, as well as resident children and teachers who work in 3 targeted schools (two schools in Al Khawkha and one in Tuhayta).
This targeting distributed 2320 school kits for students, 30 kits for teachers and 9 recreational kits for these schools.
These activities aim to provide all the requirements for students and teachers, especially after completing the construction of temporary classes for the displaced and the restoration of a number of schools completely, with the rehabilitation of WASH services, installing solar energy systems, in addition to distributing schools and office furniture and holding various trainings for teachers in the field of psychosocial support also establishment of Parent Teachers Associations and holding campaigns back to schools.
