With the support of #UNHCR, #NMO_ORG concluded its project within Shelter sector for 2021, which is the “Shelter and Non-Food Items Distribution” project.
Where this project worked on distributing “non-food” shelter items in addition to distributing “shelter” to the IDPs who were displaced from their areas due to the conflict, as well as to families from severe vulnerabilities in the host community.
In 2021, NFIs "non-food" items were distributed to 12,444 families, and 1,788 ESKs “Shelter” were distributed to 1,594 families in "Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Hodeidah and Taiz"
All this with the aim of reducing the burden on the IDPs and families who suffer from vulnerable situations by providing the most important basic relief items to preserve their dignity after conditions worsened for them due to the conflict in their areas.
It is noteworthy that the organization has been working on this project since 2018 and they are continuing implementing it until this moment, as part of its permanent plan for humanitarian response.
