The implementation of workshops that seek to build and enhance capacities is continuing and recently, facilitation teams were trained at governorate level on the Expenditure Management and Participatory Planning Manual.

This workshop, which was held, targeted 60 trainee facilitators at the level of the following governorates: Aden, Taiz, Lahj, Mukalla, Sayun, and Ma'rib.

Where they were trained in:

  • The participatory plan and its six phases.
  • Community participation and sustainable development.
  • Concepts about training of trainers.

All of this aims to build and strengthen the capacities of facilitators at the governorate level in participatory planning to enhance institutional and economic flexibility and improve (basic) service delivery.

In fact, the project is continuing in the implementation of workshops and meetings, which seeks to enable local authorities to provide critical services in an effective and equitable manner.
