#NMO_ORG continues to implement the activities of Supporting Protection & Access of Children to Education project in Aden

Within the education and child protection sector, #Nahda_makers organization continues to implement the activities of the project “Supporting Protection & Access of Children to Education project (SPACE) in Aden”, with support of the #War_Child Canada.

This project, which is being implemented, targets the Al-Hamdani School in Al-Tawahi "Aden" with various activities and in the last period, the project has implemented several activities, as the following:

1. Implementing a workshop for teachers, which targeted 30 teachers of Al-Hamdani School on teacher awareness and the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its protection.
2. Implementation of the open day activity for children, which targeted 120 students, which aimed to entertain children and improve their scientific and psychological environment.
3. Implementing a Training of Father and Mother Councils (FMC) activity, which targeted 17 individuals, The training dealt with introducing the training manual for the Parents Council and the Convention on the Rights of Children, aiming to develop the skills of the members and familiarize them with their roles and the main objectives of the Council.

And in the coming days, rehabilitation work will be carried out, which will focus on installing “solar energy” in the school to contribute to the continuation of electricity and avoid interruptions.
