#NMO_ORG is implementing support and develop agricultural activities project

Within its sector in food security and livelihood, #Nahda_Makers Organization is implementing one of its current sustainable projects, which is “Support and develop agricultural activities in the governorates of Lahj and Abyan in Yemen of Lahj (Tuban) and Abyan (Khanfar)” project, funded by Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.

This project, which is being implemented, targets 511 farmers from those areas who are interested in agricultural and irrigation techniques, through the implementation of several different activities, which include:

  • Supply and installation of 13 greenhouses.
  • Supply and installation of 60 irrigation networks.
  • Training farmers on the use of modern agricultural techniques. 

All of this will enhance food security by providing greenhouses and modern irrigation networks to improve agricultural production in the targeted areas.
