#NMO_ORG continues to implement the activities of Shelter, CCCM & QIPs project

With support from #UNHCR, Nahda Makers Organization #NMO continues to implement the activities of Shelter, CCCM & QIPs project in Maqbanah District, Taiz Governorate.

Recently, the organization has worked to implement many activities related to camp maintenance for IDPs by involving camp residents in maintenance activities through the cash-for-work mechanism.

The organization involved camp residents in the targeted displacement sites in the following actions:

  • Building new retaining walls.
  • Plastering the bases of the T-Shelter that was affected by heavy rains.
  • Rehabilitation of the retaining walls affected by the flood stream.

All this with the aim of 701 families benefiting from this and to ensure access to basic services by receiving projects and improving infrastructure to mitigate floods, fires, infectious diseases and natural hazards.
