Within the project of protection, shelter, CCCM and emergency assistance activities for IDPs and with funding from #UNHCR, the #Nahda_Makers Organization implemented the cash assistance for house rehabilitation.
This activity, which was implemented in Taiz (Sala and Al-Qahirah) directorates, worked to rehabilitate houses damaged by the conflict through cash assistance to beneficiary families.
The organization worked to direct the beneficiaries through engineers and supervisors to restore their houses and work on rebuilding and rehabilitating them.
The activity targeted 717 houses for 1,020 families, with a total of 4,896 individuals, from houses that were damaged by conflict or natural disasters and no longer had the minimum necessities of life, in order to provide safe and suitable living environments for those displaced and returnees in order to improve services and ensure better access to them.
It is worth noting that this activity is one of the sustainable activities that the organization works on within the shelter and camp coordination management sector.
