Funded by #CRS and in coordination with the Ministry of Education, #Nahda_Makers Organization in cooperation with the Ministry of Education concluded the Curriculum Development Team activity as part of the project Rebuilding Early Childhood Education in Yemen Project.

This project, which is being implemented in Aden, targets 14 kindergartens in all directorates and targets kindergartens at the early age group (3-6 years) in addition to teachers working in kindergartens.

The organization recently concluded the curriculum development team meetings, which resulted in the completion of the entire curriculum development for all kindergarten levels (KG1, KG2, KG3) and the completion of the teacher’s guide in an integrated manner.

It also completed final reviews of the curriculum drafts, to ensure the accuracy of the content and its consistency with modern educational standards. It also worked on completing the plan to include graphics and illustrative designs in cooperation with designers to ensure the provision of attractive and interactive educational materials.

The project will conduct final reviews and content audits to ensure consistency and quality before printing and distribution and starting the implementation of the teacher training plan to agree on the mechanism for implementing the training manual preparation activity.

All of this represents a pivotal step towards improving the quality of early education and reflects a commitment to include the voices of practitioners and experts to achieve comprehensive kindergarten curricula in addition to enhancing early childhood education in the country.
