Aisha ….. Happiness

  Displaced families from the governorates that are suffering the armed conflict have difficult and tragic conditions where the most basic elements of life  like food,water and medicine, as well as shelter are lacking Nahda Makers Organization(NMO) is implementing the Non-Food items (NFIs) distribution project funded bythe United Nations  High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).  This project targets IDPs fleeing conflict areas such as Taiz and Hodeida and are present  in Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Dhalea and the south of Taiz. We met with Aisha ThabitThalib, a displaced old widow who fled from  the governorate of Hodeida, Haysdistrict. Aisha was displaced along side with her nine sons for whom she is responsible Aisha expressed her pleasure in receiving the material in simplewords,  yet these words melted our hearts in compassion because Nahda Makers team was able to draw a smile on this poor old woman's face.

The NFIs distribution project targeted 1142 displaced families in Khanfar  district and 508displaced families in Zinjibar with total of 1650 families
