Distribution of water filters and healthy bags in Tor Al-Baha

Last Thursday, in Tor Al Baha district, Lahj governorate, funded by UNICEF. Nahda Makers carried out a campaign to distribute water filters and health bags for displaced people and families affected by the conflict. The campaign in Tor Al-Baha targeted about 350 displaced families, identified through a comprehensive field survey of families in the district and in coordination with the local authority.

This comes within the Water and Environmental Sanitation Program to support displaced people and conflict-affected communities in five districts in Lahj Governorate(Toben, Tor Al-Baha, Almqatrah, Alqbith, Mudaraba).

The distribution process was preceded by training and awareness sessions for a number of youth volunteers, about health messages in the field of hygiene and environmental sanitation, in order to educate the target communities.
