With support from #UNDP, #NMO_ORG implemented training course (to develop gender action plans) for health governmental officials against the covid-19 pandemic within the project of enhanced security and protection at the local level.
Through the training of 14 trainees from officials of the Ministry of Health and those working in the response to the Corona pandemic, which lasted for 3 days in Aden.
The course covered the following topics:
• Gender: gender concepts and definitions
• Concepts of gender equality in the health sector COVID-19
• How to integrate gender into national health action plans COVID-19
The course aimed to train in how to develop business plans to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, taking into account gender.
It is reported that this project is implemented in several governorates: (Aden - Lahj - Hadramawt).
