Within the project “Provide agricultural livelihoods services in the sorghum and livestock sectors through using market-based approaches in Hadramout governorate (Yemen)”, #Nahda_Makers Organization distributed sorghum seeds,concentrated feed, Salt cubes, fodder cubes and agricultural tools, with funding from #LWR
This distribution, which was carried out in Hadhramaut Governorate "al-Wadi", specifically in the districts of "Seiyun and Tarim", for 140 farmers, including "70 farmers in Seiyun and 70 farmers in Tarim" after taking a training course in sorghum production and training beneficiaries on vaccinations and ruminants.
This project is working on implementing several agricultural activities that will improve access to and use of sorghum seed, good agricultural practices, harvesting and storage practices for vulnerable and marginalized farmers and their families in the targeted areas, enhancing access to feed for small animals, asset stability and market sales to vulnerable and marginalized farmers.
This project is considered among the several projects implemented by the organization in the food security and livelihoods sector.
