#Nahda_Makers Organization, represented by its Executive Director, Mr. Mohamed Al-Sayed, visited the art exhibition of the Palm and Dates Festival in Hadhramaut Valley, which it is one of its supporters.
This annual festival, which was held in the Hadhramaut - Seiyun from August 4 to 8, 2024, aims to raise awareness of the importance of palm trees as a key element in the region’s food and economic security, and to highlight the environmental, nutritional and economic values of palm and date products. Its activities include a variety of activities including art exhibitions, workshops, discussion panels, awareness evenings and media programmes, in addition to visits to model farms.
The Executive Director and his team were received by Al-Barak Salem Al-Amri, Deputy Director of the Agriculture Office in the Valley and Desert and Head of the Exhibition Committee. The team toured the corners of the exhibition, listening to the speakers on the types of dates and palm trees and all the crafts and professions related to palm trees, who praised the sections, their arrangement and the level of organization that highlighted the exhibition and presented it in a beautiful form.
In conclusion, the Executive Director expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the local authority for their support and encouragement to hold this festival, and to everyone who participated in making the festival’s activities a success.
