Funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (#KSRelief) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (#BMZ), and in partnership with the World Food Programme (#WFP), Nahda Makers implemented a cash distribution activity in the districts of Shibam, Seiyun, and Al-Qatn in Hadramout Governorate, as part of the "Food to Resilience" (#FuTuRe3) project.
The activity provided cash transfers to 376 beneficiaries, including farmers and unskilled laborers engaged in (FFA) activities.
The intervention aims to support livelihoods for farmers and unskilled workers by offering paid employment opportunities for 90 actual working days, enabling beneficiaries to move away from direct food assistance, strengthen self-reliance, and contribute to the development of community assets that benefit local communities in the targeted areas.
This activity is part of ongoing efforts to enhance community resilience and food security and to promote sustainable development based on empowerment and investment, contributing to the building of more stable communities capable of facing challenges.
