Solar energy well...

 Every morning, children and women flock to the only well in the Dommimat districtof Qabaytah, the province of Lahj. The well, which suffers from a very difficultsituation, has no insulation wall or even a cover covering the well. Abeer, 15, saysit takes about an hour to fill three containers of water from the pit through theclouds, which is equivalent to sixty liters and is transported to her head to thevillage on a two-hour trip back and forth. Abeer suffers from severe pain in herback and neck, of long walks carrying water containers. Abu Khalid said theproblem is that the well has  many problems, although it contains water, but thedanger is very peril, there is no fence or cover and it does not contain a pump towithdraw water and does not have the power cord to install water pump to suckwater. Abeer said that the Integrated Water, Sanitation and Hygiene ResponseProject for IDPs, Returnees and Host Communities in the High Malnutrition Areasin Lahj and Abyan provide a great assistance , funding from OCHA, had achieveda dream that was difficult for the villagers to achieve. He wrote about the pyre andinstalled a cover for the well and they installed a network of solar panels and asubmersible and water lifting engine. Abeer declared that the project implementedon the ground and the dream has been achieved and she is filling the watercontainers with less than 5 minutes after installation of faucets and reservoirs. Thehouseholds in Qabaytah got access to clean and safe water
